# Sourcegraph extensions on Gitpod

You can use our Sourcegraph IDE extensions in your [Gitpod](https://gitpod.io/) workspace.

### Installation guide

Our IDE extensions work with the following IDEs supported by Gitpod.

#### Gitpod VS Code Desktop

1. Open the `Extensions view` by clicking on the Extensions icon in the [Activity Bar](https://code.visualstudio.com/api/ux-guidelines/overview#activity-bar) on the side of your Gitpod VS Code workspace
2. Search and install our [Sourcegraph](https://open-vsx.org/extension/sourcegraph/sourcegraph)

#### Gitpod VS Code for the Web

1. Open the `Extensions view` by clicking on the Extensions icon in the [Activity Bar](https://code.visualstudio.com/api/ux-guidelines/overview#activity-bar) on the side of your Gitpod VS Code for the Web workspace
2. Search and install our [Sourcegraph](https://open-vsx.org/extension/sourcegraph/sourcegraph)

#### Gitpod JetBrains IDEs

1. Follow the instructions in [Gitpod's JetBrains IDE support docs](https://www.gitpod.io/docs/ides-and-editors/jetbrains-gateway#jetbrains-ide-support) to setup your workspace.
2. In your Gitpod JetBrains IDE workspace, select `Preferences`
3. Select `Plugins: on host`
4. Search and install `Sourcegraph`
